From a house project to lighting innovation!

I would like to share with you the story behind the idea for the GLORB.
About two years ago, I was watching Trillium Domes on YouTube and decided to begin construction of a geodesic dome house for my family. While I was building it, I thought about attaching LEDs on the triangular panels of the roof. It would make for a surreal sight to see a dome glowing in colors in the middle of Swedish countryside.
It was then when I thought that it would be awesome to make a lamp replicating this design!
As my job was designing smart lamps at a successful scale-up company, I had all the tools I needed to make a prototype. And at first sight, I was mesmerized, and I decided this was the idea I wanted to pursue. I quit my job 1 year ago, and since then, my only focus has been on making the GLORB.
I've always been fascinated by the idea of using technology to create something beautiful. And with my background in designing products for high volume manufacturing, I saw this as an opportunity to create something that becomes accessible. A piece of tech-art that not only the very rich can afford. Learn more about our design philosophy.
But I knew from the start that building a great product would require a team. And from the very start, I've had some of the most talented people I know joining me to create this.
