OH MY GLORB — over $430k raised
Before launching on Kickstarter, we joked about reaching a dream scenario of $100k. Thanks to your incredible support, we hit that goal within hours. Now, one month later, we have raised the mind‑blowing amount of $430k.
YOU ARE AMAZING. Your support, curiosity, advice, and feedback made this possible. You're the reason we're here. In our team of 5 passionate individuals we have each made startups and many projects before, but nothing compares to this experience with you. This is your win too.
What happens next?
We know some of you are very experienced with Kickstarter, but we also have many first‑time backers. Below are the three next steps.
1) Payments
Kickstarter will now process your payment. This can take up to 10–14 days. We don’t have any control over this process as Kickstarter handles payment processing. Please be patient, but let us know if we can help you at all.
FAQ: what happens if my payment failed?
Kickstarter will send you instructions and attempt to process your pledge using the credit card you provided. Often, the problem relates to two‑factor authorization, an expired card, or a fraud flag. Possible solutions:
- Ensure you are logged into your Kickstarter account.
- If the first card fails, try using a different one.
- Contact your bank to authorize the payment.
- Follow Kickstarter’s steps — they will retry the charge in a few days.
If problems persist, email support@kickstarter.com. If that doesn’t work, message us at support@glorb.me and we’ll help resolve the issue.
2) Pledge manager / BackerKit
In the next few weeks, we will email you a link to our pledge manager (BackerKit) and instructions on how to use it.
In BackerKit you will be able to:
- Enter your shipping address (if required for your pledge)
- Upgrade your pledge / add additional GLORBs
- Pay the remaining balance (shipping costs + any chosen upgrades)
3) Working hard on GLORB
While the Kickstarter journey was amazing, we are excited to devote all of our time and energy to manufacturing, community, building a world‑class app, and working on features and integrations. We have an exciting road ahead with many milestones — and we’ll share progress here in updates and in the community.
We are on schedule to deliver your GLORBs from October. If any unforeseen delays happen, we will make it clear — but as of now, we are doing very good.
