DEAR GLORBIANS!
We are sorry for the lack of communication and updates regarding tracking and delivery times in the past weeks. We had setbacks that stacked up and made the logistics process very annoying. We also felt like we did not want to give more ETAs as this previously backfired on us when some new setback popped up, creating confusion and worry for you. But now we have concrete information to share, so lets get into it.
1) 👏 EU Batches Arrived & Rolling out!
Yesterday, the 15th of January, both containers arrived at the CZ distribution center. Orders are being processed and shipped. Today 500–600 orders are being sent and as soon as your order leaves the distribution center you will get a mail with tracking info. Delivery should take 2–5 business days, though UK orders may take longer due to customs. International orders in the EU batch are not sent just yet but are being processed.
Private Apple relay email
Some of you have a private Apple relay email registered and might miss the tracking email. If you think this applies to you, please email hello@glorb.me with a new email address to receive your tracking.
Phone numbers needed for deliveries
The logistics platform needs a phone number to accept the delivery. We’ll be reaching out to backers who didn’t provide phone numbers, as they’re required for delivery.
2) Order status updates
- EU: Ongoing 🟡 (500–600 units sent today and will continue rolling out)
- US: Delivered 🟢 (all US orders, except 9, have been delivered)
- Canada: Ongoing 🟡 (some sent; most being labeled to be sent soon)
- International: Sent and on the way 🟢🟡
3) 📖 User Guide
In the user manual included in the box, you'll find a link to our user guide webpage, which some users have reported difficulty accessing. This page will be regularly updated with resources such as instructions for setting up your GLORB with our iOS app (iPhone) and the WLED Native app (Android) until our cross-platform Flutter app is ready. It also includes details on firmware updates, known issues, DMX control setup, a downloadable Touchdesigner file, and more.

4) 🛠️ Issues and fixes
As you know we are a startup and this is our first product, so there will unfortunately be some faulty units. We are committed to making everyone satisfied and will fix reported issues with upcoming production batches. There are some issues that can be fixed, both on hardware side and firmware side so if you have an issue please follow these steps.
If you have issues
- Check user guide: please first check the user guide for troubleshooting and known issues.
- Create support mail: if you cannot solve the issue using the user guide, send a mail to support@glorb.me with attached picture/video of the issue and what you have tried and we will help you. We will send you a new unit if the issue cannot be resolved.
- Returns: we are working on creating returns for the damaged units, but the procedure is not up and running yet. We will contact you about how to send the faulty unit back to us soon.
Issues? Please use mail. We are delivering thousands of units right now so if you have issues, attach picture/video and email support@glorb.me.
Warranty registration
We have not yet set up a system for warranty registration but we will let you know when we have. Your warranty is of course still valid. Inside our iOS app the warranty registration display needs to be updated.
Known issues
- Power adapter: if the GLORB does not start upon being plugged to power, try a different USB‑C power adapter (5V 3A). If this fix worked, please still report your issue by sending a mail to support@glorb.me.
- Panel gaps: often caused by rough handling in shipping. In most cases this is fixable (but can take some force). If you need help, contact support.
5) Android users, firmware update & cross-platform app progress
We’re actively developing a cross-platform Flutter app as our main control interface. There is a working control screen and you can select animations for the GLORB. We know many Android users are not super happy using the WLED Native and WLED+ apps. This is understandable. There is still more to be developed and testing to be done before we can release it. We will make updates as we are closer to the finish line.

Firmware update available (important)
An update is available with minor bug fixes and GLORB-specific animation filters in WLED (animations customized to GLORB are marked with an icon). Important: do not install other custom firmware or standard WLED builds that are not officially supported by us. Incorrect configurations during firmware updates can brick your device. Please contact support@glorb.me if you have issues.

We are in the last stretch now of you all getting your GLORBs and that is a fantastic feeling. We are very impressed with the patience, understanding and support you have shown through our logistics setbacks and we really hope the issues are minimal once your GLORBs arrive.
Once all backers have got their GLORBs we will ask for reviews through mail. We are very serious about growing our company with a community-first principle — we will listen to your feedback, requests and ideas and try our very best to stay connected. It is busy times and we do our very best to answer all comments and messages on all platforms but will prioritize mails and solving issues.
We will focus on having discussions on our GLORB Discord from now on as it will become our community HQ, but we will certainly also be active in the GLORB community on Facebook. So please join! We will give you sneak peeks, ask for your opinions and treat you as an extended part of the team to the best of our abilities.
